    • Once you are ready to remove it, carefully remove the bandage and discard it. Continue to post bandage aftercare

No submerging your tattoo in water (oceans, lakes, rivers, baths, etc) while it is healing.

    • Dial Gold Antibacterial (the pump soap) Bar soap harbors bacteria. If you must use bar soap, lather it first in your hands. Never apply a bar directly to the tattoo) & water

    • Wet the tattoo gently, letting water fall from the areas around the tattoo onto it

    • Lather soap in your hands, use small circles to gently wash your tattoo

    • PAT (don’t rub) your tattoo dry with a paper towel or clean towel

    • Apply a small thin layer of a fragrance free lotion. Less is more.

  • •DON’T scratch or pick at your tattoo. If it gets itchy, slap it lightly. Scabs/flakes will fall off naturally, typically during washing. DON’T force them off

•DON’T use too much lotion. Too dry is better than too moist. Too much lotion can cause scabs to fall off prematurely, and take ink with them

•DON’T apply sunscreen to a healing tattoo. It contains harsh chemicals that are not advised for healing tattoos

•DO Try to avoid washing your tattoo more than twice a day, but if you think it may have gotten dirty, wash it

•DO wash your tattoo after sweating profusely

•DO wear loose clothing over your tattoo. Cotton/breathable fabrics are best. Avoid straps/constricting clothing directly on your tattoo

•DO protect your tattoo with sunscreen once it is fully healed

Having issues with a piercing? Don’t hesitate to reach out!

  • Always wash your hands before cleaning your piercing

  • Gently rinse your piercing 1-2x a day with warm water to get rid of any dried blood, crusties, dirt, and debris from the day. A warm / hot shower works best.

  • You may also use a suggested STERILE SALINE SPRAY to flush your piercing. Spray both the front and the back of each piercing - pat dry with a clean and disposable paper towel or gauze pad, making sure to remove buildup on the piercings.

  • We highly recommend scheduling a follow up appointment within the first 6-8 weeks to downsize and/ or adjust your jewelry

  • Piercings do not like to remain wet, this can cause several irritating issues. Gently dry your new piercing promptly after rinsing by dabbing a soft clean paper towel gently around the area. Be careful to not be aggressive with this process.

  • Avoid sleeping on your piercing, any direct pressure can cause your new or healing piercing cause cause it to over swell, get cranky, or shift your jewelry.

  • Do not touch, spin, or rotate your piercing.

  • No alcohol/ tea tree oil/ hydrogen peroxide/ aspirin paste/ bactine.

  • Avoid submerging your fresh piercing for 6-8 weeks. This includes bath/hot tubs, pools, lakes, rivers, and oceans.

  • Do not remove your jewelry at any point during the healing time. Doing so can cause your piercing to close or present irritation if you try to put it back in.

  • Sports? If you play a sport, contact or water, we fully recommend waiting until off season to get any piercing. If you are a year round athlete… think about your lifestyle and trying to heal a piercing, sports and piercings don’t mix well.

  • Do not listen to your sisters friends aunt, or second guess if you have any issues or questions. We are here to help you out long after you leave the studio. Do not hesitate,
